Niklas Grapatin is a photographer based in Hamburg,
Germany. In 2011 he began his studies of
photojournalism- and documentary photography in
Hanover, followed by an internship as a staff
photographer at the F.A.Z. In
2017 he went to Bangladesh
to continue his studies at
Pathshala South Asian Media
Institute in Dhaka. For him it's important to
always find a
visual language that matches with the
subject and
communicates the matter in the most intense
and
emotional way. His work got published in various
magazines and newspapers like DIE ZEIT, Amnesty
Journal, SZ-Magazin, brandeins, F.A.Z. and DER
SPIEGEL. Besides working on personal projects he is
available for editorial and commercial assignments.
